On September 22, 2026, Podcast in a Box will launch on Kickstarter with a system designed to make multi-camera podcast production more approachable for people who want to focus on the conversation instead of building a studio.
It Started With a Podcast Idea
Podcast in a Box was founded by Adeena Halberstam after she decided she wanted to create a matchmaking and dating advice podcast.
The idea for the show was straightforward. Producing it was not.
Creating a professional-looking multi-camera podcast meant figuring out microphones, interfaces, camera positions, mounting equipment, cables, recording, editing, and how to make all of those pieces work together.
The experience exposed a larger problem: there are a lot of people with something worth saying who have no interest in becoming audio and video technicians before they can say it.
Podcast in a Box grew out of that problem.
Leadership
Adeena Halberstam — Founder & Owner
Adeena founded Podcast in a Box to solve a problem she kept running into herself: producing a professional multi-camera podcast without a studio. She owns the company’s product vision and sets the direction for every release. Podcast in a Box is operated by Mediabox Solutions LLC.
Ben Halberstam — Product Lead
Ben is Podcast in a Box’s Product Lead and Adeena’s husband. He joined the project to bring more than a decade of consumer audio and creator-hardware experience to her idea, and is responsible for engineering, industrial design, and manufacturing execution.
Launching September 22
Podcast in a Box will launch on Kickstarter on September 22, 2026.
The public Early Bird price will be $499, with a retail price of $649.
